Looking forward to recieving all of the dates for 2002 festivals around the state. Some of the places and events that we go to each year include, In May is the Mercy Flight Balloon Festival in Canandaigua,NY, In June, Coors Lite Balloon Festival in Jamesville,NY (Near Syracuse), Tall Ships on display at the Oswego Harbor,Oswego,NY, Sea Serpent Balloon Festival In Perry, NY In July comes the opening of the Sterling Rennaissance Festival in Sterling,NY This runs to August 15,2002,Oswego Harborfest 2002, Oswego,NY, The 27th Annual Great Wellsville Balloon Rally in Wellsville,NY, In August come The Annual Spiedie Fest & Balloon Rally in Binghamton,NY, Orleans Hot Air Balloon Festival in Albion,NY, The First Sunday of August comes the ATHS Antique Truck & Tractor & Constructment Show in Batavia,NY at the Fairgrounds. Next is the Pageant Of Steam in Canandaigua,NY, Then is the Erie County Fair in Hamburg,NY which runs 10 days during August, Then The New York State Fair in Syracuse,NY Runs Till Labor Day, Then The Great Northern Catskills Balloon Festival in Greenville,NY South of Albany. Then on Labor Day Weekend is the New York State Festival Of Balloons in Dansville, This runs 4 days. In September is The 1000 Islands International Balloon Festival in Alex Bay. ( Not Comfirmed Yet ) Toward the end of September comes my favorite, The Adirondack Balloon Festival in Lake George,NY That pretty much ends a summer of festivals. I am always looking for new shows to go to When I find them I will post them here. AUGUST 2001 LIGHTHOUSE TRIP
Along with going to the different festivals around the state we have wanted for a while to start visiting some of the different lighthouses on a weekend that nothing else was planned. That is just what we done this weekend. Carol visited the Charlotte Lighthouse on friday afternoon and got to go all the way up to where the light is. Then today August 25,2001 we went and visited the Thirty Mile Point Lighthouse in Somerset, NY. This was a beautiful place and it was a sunny day with a good breeze. I went all the way to the top and got some great shots from the balcony just below the light. On the Photo Page I will put some photos from both lighthouses on these pages.

THIRTY MILE POINT LIGHTHOUSE
This lighthouse is in Somerset,NY at the Golden Hill State Park.
